As a result of growing up in Florida and loving nature, I can never get all of the dirt out from under my fingernails, twigs & leaves out of my hair, or scrapes on my arms & legs to completely go away. Since graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2010, I have been pursuing my art profession through many different avenues. This included founding the San Carlos Collective an organization that exhibited artwork during Art Basel in Miami Beach, December 2011. More recently, I participated in the FLOR500 statewide environmental art project, which culminated in an exhibition at FGCU Contemporary Art Gallery.
After living on Captiva for the past 4 years, I moved to Tallahassee to persue an MFA degree in Fine Art at Florida State University. I am scheduled to graduate in 2017 from this 3 year program.
While going to school I've also become highly involved in the community in Tallahassee. I currently am proud to have the position of Treasure of the board at 621 Gallery. As the president of LGA (the League of Graduate Artists) I am very excited to lead a group of grad students to showcase our work during Art Basel week in Miami, FL.
